Smashmigos- Roy: breastplate done, Ike: part of shoulder/forearm done

My colors of blue are not absolutely correct but I feel like when all three are next to each other it will look better. I still need to do A LOT for Ike as well as finish the details on Roy's shoulders. I also need to add belts to the armor so they can stay on lol, I plan to do that with stretchy brown ribbons or anything similar and glue them on the inside with barge (I found that fabric glue worked <with Dark Magician Girl> but barge was just easier to attach fabric to foam compared to using fabric to attach fabric to fabric). Please understand that the "paint strokes" seen are not paint- that is the Mod Podge that I painted on underneath, I spray paint all of my work because it is easier and doesn't leave behind super visible paint strokes. Some of these pictures maybe blurry- my hands get shaky when I work on these guys, it seriously makes me that excited. Marth has yet to be touched still, but I do have his gold and blue colors of paint now.

-Roy bust and shoulders painted his blue. This is in outdoor lighting so the color may vary. Excuse the Halloween tarp lol.-

-Inside lighting. For the details I used strips of white craft foam. I highly advise NOT sealing craft foam with anything because when I did so the craft foam would not collect any color, if that makes sense. The gold was better absorbed without any sealant. I used washi tape as a pattern of sorts by taping the armor where the gold would go, this also helped with keeping the same size through out. I plan to make a tutorial for this.-

-Roy bust finished. I apologize for the blurry picture.-

-So this is me holding it under a scarf where it would end up resting. I put on the scarf to give the look that the cape would have on top of the bust as well as what parts wouldn't be seen. Again I will NOT be binding. It is me in the cosplay, it should never have to be someone becoming the character just you as the character.-

-Ike's shoulder parts and forearm spray painted with a dark turquoise. This is in outdoor lighting so the color may seem off. Excuse the Halloween tarp lol. I did not seal the color with Mod Podge because of the accident I had previously.-

-Ike shoulder parts and forearm completely done. I decided not to add any shading by dry brushing on black to create shadows because I feel as though this kept the "cartoony" feel that Smash Bros has as well as looked realistic. I cut strips of craft foam as the dark gold details (I painted them before I hot glued them on).-
